Morris (Moe) Chysyk
On January 23, 2026, Morris Chysyk passed away at the age of 89 years in Edmonton.
Born to John and Annie Chyzyk in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, Morris is survived by his son: Kevin (Roxanne); daughters: Patricia (Stuart) Trussler, Michelle Reed, Allison McDuff and Marcia (Roberto) Ziccarelli; eleven grandchildren: Chris Chysyk, Megan Gibbons (David), Shelby Reed, Wyatt Reed, Dayna Reed, Roy McDuff, Kaitlin McDuff, Hanna McDuff, Daniel Ziccarelli (Chelsea), Adam Ziccarelli (Alexa) and Roman Ziccarelli (Janita); five great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Felicity, Desmond, Linnea and Sienna. He is also survived by two sisters-in-laws; his companion and best friend, Elsie; along with other family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Veronica. His parents, all four siblings, one son-in-law and twelve in-laws.
Morris will be remembered as having a deep love of horses in his simple life.

Sorry to hear of your & our loss. I wish we had had ‘one last visit’ but that did not happen. We have such warm memories of uncle Morris & the fact that he & I both worked at Kenting drilling before I ever knew he was my uncle. Life has so many twists & turns.
