Suzanne Albert
Suzanne Albert passed away at the age of 95. Born in Edmonton and raised on the family farm southwest of Beaumont, she was one of ten children. Her life eventually brought her back to an acreage within a mile of her childhood home.
At 21, she married Fred Albert on a bitterly cold February day, and together they raised three sons: Raymond, Daniel, and Curtis. Suzanne loved the outdoors—gardening, fishing, and later spending winters as a Snowbird in Arizona.
Predeceased by her husband Fred and her son Raymond, she filled her retirement years with the companionship of family, grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, and many dear friends. She loved to laugh, play cards, and take part in countless crib tournaments—winning more than a few along the way. Independent and resilient, she remained on her acreage until the age of 94. Her humour, positivity, and strength shaped a long and meaningful life.
Suzanne leaves behind a legacy of kindness, perseverance, and joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
