Marvin (“Marv”) Patrick Kirkpatrick, born March 23, 1959, in Edmonton, passed away suddenly on February 3, 2026, at the age of 66.

Marv was a loving father who supported his children and partner in all of their passions.  He enjoyed reading history books, watching football and spending time with his family.  He worked for the City of Edmonton as a Team Leader in sports field maintenance.  He will be dearly missed by all!

Marv was predeceased by his father Alexander Kirkpatrick, his mother Roseanna Kirkpatrick (O’Kane), his brothers Earl and Allan, his sisters Patricia and Judy, and his father and mother in-laws, John and Elizabeth Lecapoy.

He is survived by his partner, Wanda Lecapoy; his children, Adam Kirkpatrick and wife Kacie Norton, Jenna Kirkpatrick and partner Michael Demchuk; his sisters, Veronica and Shirley Kirkpatrick; his sister and brother in-laws, Linda and Len Breunig, Connie and Jim Stein, Sandra and Dave Kostiuk, Jackie and Dave Scott; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
