Marilyn Agnes Gushta

With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Marilyn Agnes Gushta (Compo) on March 2, 2026 at the age of 78

Marilyn was born July 7 1947 in Edmonton, AB and passed away at the Smoky Lake Healthcare Centre on March 2, 2026.

She is survived by her son Calvin (Dixie), Grandchildren Michael and Emily (Luke). Great grandchildren Dominic, Enzo, Rocco and Lucia. She is also survived by her brothers Tom Compo, Richard Compo, Dennis (Ivy) Compo, Brady (Debbie) Compo, Barry Compo, Warren Compo, Brian (Margaret) Compo; sisters Gladys (Bernard) Hamel and Karen Compo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.

Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Thomas (Earl) and Gladys Compo, brothers Lloyd Compo and Harvey Compo and sister Ella Joy Compo. She was also predeceased by her husband Michael Gushta and partner Ron Smigorowsky.

At Marilyn's request cremation has taken place.
