Marilyn Janice Tookey

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Marilyn Tookey on February 1st 2026; survived by her beloved three sons Colan Tookey, Ryan Tookey, and Braydan Tookey along with their families who all grieve for a loss decades too soon.

Marilyn (Kuhn) was born on March 5th 1960 in Edmonton, AB to her late father Walter Kuhn and late mother Hertha Kuhn (Tonn); she grew up on the Golden West Golf Course with surviving older brother Dwight Kuhn and late younger brother Calvin Kuhn. Marilyn was very proud of her 30+ year career with Alberta Justice at the St. Albert Court House as the Deputy Court Administrator and Justice of the Peace; upon retiring you could find her traveling to Caribbean beaches with friends or beachcombing with her son on the West Coast as long as she was able.

We love you Mom, and will always cherish the fun we had (after our chores were done)!
