Margaret Regina Haggarty
Margaret Regina Haggarty (née Lindsay), mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born in Regina on July 11, 1941, Marg was the daughter of Bruce and Peggy Lindsay and sister to Marianne, Don (deceased), and Bob (deceased). She was married to Patrick Haggarty (deceased) and was the loving mother to Sheila, Bryan, and Shannon (Thomas).
Marg lived a life of quiet service and deep love for her family. She worked at Treasure House Furnishings, where she developed a lasting appreciation for teak furniture; at JB’s Automotive, indulging her lifelong passion for fast cars; and for many years with an orthopaedic surgeon. Above all, she lived for others—caring selflessly for her family, her siblings, and sharing a special bond with her sister Marianne through many seasons of life.
She found great joy in simple pleasures: gardening, spending time outdoors in her yard, and being surrounded by her beloved cats and other animals. Her Catholic faith was a constant source of comfort and strength, especially during challenging times, and she drew deeply from her relationship with the Lord.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the compassionate and professional caregivers at the Grey Nuns Hospital, particularly in the Emergency Department and Units 43 and 44, for their kindness and excellent care during her final days.
