  11. I am shocked and so sorry to read this. Arvin and I were very close when we were young. I loved him and cherished our friendship. He was one of the most intelligent and interesting people I’ve known. We lost touch 20 odd years ago but I have always thought of him. My condolences to his children and the rest of his family.

  12. I am very saddened to hear about Arvin. He was a a wonderful friend. He had an infectious charisma that brought such joy to the lives of his friends. I am particularly fond of how he was so talented and generous with introducing and connecting people to each other. My sincere condolences to his family.

  13. Arvin was definitley one of a kind. Though we lost touch years ago, I will remember him for his quick wit, curiousity and charm. I recall a theory he once proposed – that humankind were all connected like one large amoeba. And he connected so easily with others. My condolences friends and family

  14. Thank you everyone for sharing your memories and kind words about Arvin. He was a quiet and kind soul who will be missed.

  15. Miss you Dad

  16. Dad, I will forever miss laughing with you until our stomachs hurt and tears were rolling down the two of our faces…. most of the time over something hilarious you had said. I feel such a sadness for my children to come knowing they will never get to know you on a personable level…. your dinners, visiting you on a random weekend or your advice when all that is needed is an ear…. all can never go unnoticed. I cant believe I can never again call you and say… “i have this, this, and this in my cupboard…. what’s a good dinner I can make?” And following your words ending up with an amazing full meal on the table with grins from every person eating. I miss you already in too many ways to put into words…. I feel such a sadness you had to say goodbye so early in life. I will feel for your presence and guidance for the rest of my days… I miss you dad and i love you so very much. “….same thing” RIP I am sending nothing but love your way. It’ll be hard without you, but I do know you will be around in spirit. I will be sure to keep my eyes and ears open for messages you leave for me along my journey through life. See you on the other side Dad. I love you. Xo
