It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Kathleen Giesinger on January 13, 2021.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Norm, daughter Lisa (Shawn), sister Eva (Brian) and brother’s Richard and Stan, brother in law Gary, and her nieces and nephew.
Kathy was a generous and compassionate person loved by all who knew her. She shared an unconditional love for her fur babies and grand puppies. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed however we will take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her sister Rita.
As per Kathy’s request, there is no funeral planned. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations can be made towards any one of the local pet rescue societies such as AARC’s or SCARS, Children’s Wish Foundation of Alberta, or the Cancer Society of Alberta.
So sorry to hear of Kathy’s sudden passing. My deepest condolences to her family.
Our condolences. We are very sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing.
My heart goes out to Kathy’s family and friends. I met Kathy in high school. Every time I think of Kathy it is with love, fun and a lot of laughter.
I am very sad to read of Kathy’s passing. I met Kathy in grade 10 at Archbishop O’Leary and she was a very good friend to me. She is my daughter’s Godmother (1973)
My sincere condolences for your families loss. My Dad always thought of Kathy as another daughter and he will certainly find her in heaven.
Much love and prayers in this difficult time.
Dear Lisa and Norm,
I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Kathy’s passing. She was such a bubbly, energetic and kind soul. I am so glad to have had recent phone chats with her and texts, the last being Christmas day. May all of the happy memories comfort you both at this terribly difficult time. I will always picture her out puttering in her garden. I am sure she is doing just that in heaven, with her dearly loved sister Rita at her side. Rest in peace Kathy, my dear friend. Until we meet again, and you can show me all the latest gardening tips.
Sensing your sorrow, I send my sympathy to Norm, Lisa and family. I wish you God’s “peace” as you continue life’s journey; always carrying “Kathy” in your hearts.

Dear Lisa, Norm, and Kadlec Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family at this time. Kathy was a beautiful and amazing woman. Kathy’s kindness and loving nature was a blessing to all who crossed her path. Kathy’s ability to make you feel that you were the only one in the room when she was engaged in a conversation with you was uncanny. Kathy’s smile and giving nature will be missed! Love and hugs from the Brugies. ❤️🤗🙏💋
Totally shocked and deeply saddened by Kathy’s passing. My thoughts and hugs are with you during this difficult time.
