Marcia Joan Atkinson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcia Joan Atkinson. Marcia passed away peacefully with her children by her side on March 21, 2020. Marcia was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. A loving sister and the most caring friend you could ask for.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents Carmen and Margaret. Marcia is survived by her 2 children Andrew and Sherry (Jeff). Her brother David (Stacy) and sister Betty (Tim). Her grandchildren Vivian, Bradley, Nicholas, Selena, Chelsey.
The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses for all the care she received at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
There will be no service at this time

Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. Marcia was an amazing friend, always offering a smile or kind word, an attentive ear for listening, with a non-judgmental heart to offer advice with. Marcia will always bring a smile to our faces when in our thoughts, and she will always have a special place in our hearts. We are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to call her a friend.

Forgive me for this being late, I just learned of this page today. Marcia was a wonderful woman who I am very privileged to have met. Our brief conversation was always a positive part of my day, her joy and help will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to her family, so many grieve with you through her passing. Marcie was the most wonderful person I’ve ever had a chance to meet. She was warm, kind. And took a chance on a single mom and gave me my very first apartment. She was more than my landlord, she was my friend. I’ll miss her laugh, her smile and her chats. May she rest
