  6. We were very fortunate to be living next door for the last 15 years to two wonderful neighbours. Assunta shared her cooking , her hospitality and good cheer with us. Summer was never summer until we shared a glass of wine and cheese on their garden patio. Assunta had a wonderful hearty laugh that gave you a good feeling. I watched her raise her grandkids with amazing love and commitment as they all came to play and visit. How blessed we all were to know her. May she rest in peace in paradise.

  7. Assunta was a very special person, with a genuine kindness and friendliness that warmed everyone’s heart. We will never forget her constant hospitality, serving yummy homemade baking and delicious savoury dishes. You felt like she was your Nona, transporting you to Italy. The love she gave to family and friends will never be forgotten. Assunta is smiling down at us all from heaven. We miss her and may her family take comfort in remembering the many wonderful memories she gave. Sending love and prayers to Pasqualino & family….
