It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother and grandmother, Audrey Jones, at the age of 96. Audrey passed away peacefully with her son Danny and granddaughter Kailey by her side on December 25th at CapitalCare Kipnes Center for Veterans.

Audrey was born in Edmonton on November 4th, 1929 to Alice Craighill and John Fullerton. Audrey had one brother named J.H.C "Harry" Fullerton, who passed away in April 1982. Audrey married the love of her life and best friend, Fred Jones, on August 5th, 1950 in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Audrey lived a long beautiful life with her husband, Fred Jones, of 50 years. They had three sons, David, Darryl and Daniel. Unfortunately, David passed away at the age of two months old in 1954. Fred and Audrey enjoyed traveling to many places, including their favorite destination, Hawaii. They spent most of their days at the thoroughbred racetracks in various cities, more so in Edmonton and Calgary, where Fred trained race horses, and Audrey worked as a pari-mutuel clerk. They were surrounded by many wonderful friends and family and made great memories over the years.

Audrey loved planting flowers in the summer months and kept a beautiful garden. She enjoyed traveling with Danny to his marathon runs and spending time with her granddaughter, Kailey. Audrey was always smiling and carried a positive demeanor. She left a lasting imprint of love, joy and comfort in the hearts of everyone that knew her. Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Fred Jones, and two sons, Darryl and David Jones. Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her son Danny Jones, granddaughter Kailey (Rakan) Borhot, three great-grandchildren and many friends and extended family.
