April 12, 2022 1 Condolence Print Obituary Send Flowers

On 12 March 2022, Bernie made his transition after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife Arlene, parents Alfred and Esther, nephew Glen Pilon, Bernie is survived by his sister Myrna Pilon, step-children Darrell, Robyn, Colleen and Meredith and lovingly remembered by many friends and extended family.

An entrepreneur, a teacher, a community leader, Bernie was the owner of Western Maintenance as well as the founder of Future Trend Enterprises, which was the umbrella for many businesses along with his personal development program “The Stage”. This course, which he taught along with other trainers, enhanced and changed many lives. Always looking to connect with people, Bernie had a smile and a hug for everyone. He is dearly missed.

Donations in Bernie’s memory can be made to the Greater Edmonton Foundation https://www.gef.org/donations-that-make-a-difference/ or a charity of your choice.
Special thanks to the Greater Edmonton Foundation, Alberta Health Services (Palliative Homecare), Kiwanis Place Lodge and The Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre (9Y Hospice wing).

  1. To Myrna Pilon, Bernie’s family and friends.
Bernie was a light to myself and to many. My experience of Bernie is he was true to his soul’s calling. I am sorry for your loss.
I honor that Bernie’s soul is now free to serve humanity freely from other dimensions.

Love and Light to you all.
