  13. Nyoka, Glenda, Arlene, grandchildren, the Byron and the Providence family:
We (the John’s family) join with you all to mourn the passing of Brenda. Death is something that will knock on all of our doors one day or another but when it knocks close to home, we who are left to mourn the loss, ask why? Our mommy/granny, Harriet and your mother, Georgie were very best friends or more like sisters just to emphasize how close they were so the John’s children and the Byron children grew up together. Brenda will be very missed by all of us but she will never be forgotten, that inviting welcome that always lit up her face will be etched in our memory. Brenda told the Lord she was tired so he took her to rest for a while…Rest in eternal peace Brenda and may light perpetual shine on you🌹💖

  14. Until we meet again on that next level.
Safety in your travels and know that you will be missed by many who remain here.
    Blessings and Grace.

  15. The memory of Aunt Brenda will never be forgotten, her laugh and smile infectious. The sincere care that she gave to anyone new in her presence, whether it be at her home or at church.
Her story telling will never be outdone, nor the ability to move a crowd. These are just a few things that we will continue to positively remember about my aunt.
    We love you always.

  16. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
Your mother was an amazing woman and someone I thought of as a mom to me as well.
She will truly be missed but never forgotten.

  17. To the Byron/ Providnece family especially to Glenda, Nyoka, and Arlene. Your mom was a comfort, a home away from home, her smile wrapped me in a hug when I couldn’t be home with my family all through my formative years. I will never forget this, I am grateful to have known her and sad to lose her. May her wonderful smile light up Heaven and send warmth, kindness and home to all who need it. God keep her close, rest in glory.

  18. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the loss of this colorful and vibrant soul. Family and friends alike.
Aunt Brenda made strong impressions on me as a youth , impressions that stay with me to this day. I will be forever grateful for the limited yet so very impactful time we got to spend together
