Elizabeth (Betty) Marie Cossette late of Edmonton, Ab. and formerly of Estevan Sk. passed away peacefully with her children by her side on August 16th, 2026, at the age of 75.

Betty will be lovingly remembered for her courage, strength, generosity, and her dedication to her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and brought warmth and laughter to those around her. Betty will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty enjoyed reading, cooking, knitting, crocheting, watching movies, and traveling. She especially treasured the time she spent with the people she loved.

Betty is survived by her son, Jeff Cossette; her daughter, April Phillips (Dean); granddaughters, Malaya and Cailyn Phillips; brother Dan Cossette; sisters, Cathy Cossette (Don) and Paulette (Rod) Whiteside; brother-in-law Angus Smart; niece, Sarah Whiteside (Andrew); nephews, Aaron (Jolene) Cossette and Drew Cossette; and many great-nieces, great-nephews and many extended family, including JoAnne Phillips and Parry Phillips.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, Clem and Pauline Cossette (Weisgerber); her sister Marianna Smart, and her brother, Barrie Cossette.

In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation has already taken place.
