Benito Italo Morello

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Benito Morello who passed away peacefully on November 5, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Benito was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Family was the centre of his world, and nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with those he loved. He especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking delicious meals for his family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Throughout his life, Benito worked hard to provide for his family. He spent many years working in construction before becoming a supervisor at Alberta College. He eventually returned to construction, a trade to which he dedicated much of his working life. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to his family.

Benito was predeceased by his beloved wife, Clementina Morello; his youngest daughter, Felicia; his grandson, Corey; his parents, Gaetano and Angela; and his four siblings, Felicia, Francesco, Pierino, and Quintino.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Francine and Angela; his sons, Guy and Domenic; and his grandchildren, Sabrina (Erik), Chris (Leakana), Jesse, Victoria, Don, Jacob, Jake, and Danya. He will also be lovingly remembered by his great-grandchildren, Caydence, Cooper, Ariel, and Aliya, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Benito's love for his family, his stories, his laughter, and the meals he lovingly prepared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly and the countless memories he leaves behind.

Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
