Ernest Victor Kolmatycki

It is with great sadness that the family of Ernest Victor Kolmatycki announces his passing on October 15, 2025.  Born in Mundare, Alberta, to Nick and Ann Kolmatycki, Ernest lived a life marked by kindness, hard work, and devotion to his family.

He is survived by his son, Danny Kolmatycki, daughter, Lisa Muzyka, and his cherished grandchildren, Sara Muzyka, and Sebastian and Solomon Kolmatycki. He is also survived by his brother, Loran Kolmatycki. Ernest was predeceased by his former wife, Sharon Kolmatycki (Rintoul).

Ernest enjoyed fishing and hunting, bowling and darts, and playing cards with friends and family. He will be remembered for his good nature, love of laughter, and the lasting memories he created with those close to him.

As per his wishes, Ernest will be cremated and no funeral service will be held.
