On February 25, 2020, Gil da Ponte Viveiros passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Maria (Joao) Barbosa, son Gil (Michele) Viveiros, 4 grandchildren, Jessica (John) Szewczuk, Joshua (Navjot) Barbosa, Jennifer (Alejandro) Falcon, Daniel Viveiros and 4 great grandchildren, Aria, Luke, Sofia and Gabriela, as well as his brother Ernesto (Adriana) Viveiros. Predeceased by his wife Maria dos Anjos, his parents Joao da Ponte Viveiros and Teresa Carvalho, as well as 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

With our deepest condolences to our cousins and their extended families. As a young child, my memories of Tio (Uncle) Gil was when he came over to our house in Sheridan Ave., Toronto, Ontario, I found him to be “very gentle man” and “full of spirited.” May he rest in peace. God Bless.
