It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Grumpy. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 55 years, Carol, his loving children, Velvet (Jeff), Trent, Jason (Carrie), beloved grandchildren & great grandchildren, Misty (Solomon), Isobel & Sora, Carly (Bobbi), Mackenzie, Mikaela & Mitchell. He was much loved by his sisters, Maggie (George), Hazel, Mary (Dick), brothers, Johnny (Sally), Elmer (Doreen) and numerous nieces & nephews. He is reunited in Heaven with his daughters, Lisa & Valerie, his parents, Annie & William, sisters, Kathleen, Georgina & Miriam, and brothers, Billy & Tom. Grumpy was loved by all and will be missed dearly.

Losing someone we love is never easy, but knowing we have been able to be a part of Gord’s life, we know we are truly blessed to have been able to share in his life. My condolences. He was quite a character and leaves with me many fond memories.

My deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. It’s been many years ago, however I remember your dad Gordon as a loving father who adored his daughter, was genuine in spirit and generous in hospitality to your friends. He is with you in spirit and his love is perpetual …it goes on forever 🙂 Know that you and your family are in my prayers.
