
Gordon Joseph Mitchell
After a life lived with purpose and love, Gordon Joseph Mitchell, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Natalka, his children Nadine (Todd) and Chad (JoAnne), his adored grandchildren Hannah, Jack, Claire, Grace, and Mia, and his numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his four brothers Charles, Les, Lloyd, and Terry, and his sisters Joyce and Jean.
Over his lifetime, Gordon devoted himself to faith, teaching, and family, leaving a legacy that will continue to guide and inspire those who knew him.

I was sad to hear the news of Uncle Gordon‘s passing. He was the last of the Mitchell’s amazing group of people who had big personalities and lots of enthusiasm of life a very close and loving family that shared many occasions together. I am so grateful that I got to see you one last time being so far away, It was hard for me to see you but when I was in the city of Edmonton, I made sure to come and spend time with you our last visit was wonderful thank you for all your wisdom and all your wonderful stories. You had a peacefullness and a calm about you. You will truly be missed.

Nat I am so sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. I remember his kindness and his smile whenever he came to visit you at Kipnes Centre when we worked together. I am thinking of you at this time.
