Helga Kaiser

Helga Kaiser transcended the mortal realm of earth on March 22, 2025 and looked up at her heavenly destination and ascended to eternal peace and tranquility.

Helga was born in 1937 in a small town in East Germany where she grew up during World War II and subsequently under a communist government. She escaped from the oppressive regime as a teenager and found refuge in West Germany where she met Heinz, her life-long companion. They were married in 1956 and their honeymoon turned into a one-way trip to Canada where Heinz pursued a successful career in industrial and research chemistry.

Their marriage was blessed with two children Marion (Brian) and Ralf (Lori), and eventually, three grandsons – Michael, Brandon and Zachary, whom Helga adored with boundless energy. Helga’s holiday meals were culinary feasts, and her buttercream cake was irresistible, especially to the fingertips of little boys!

In compliance with Helga’s modest wishes, there will not be a formal service, but we will gather at a later date, to celebrate Helga’s exemplary life and to commemorate her indomitable spirit.
