Hessel Nyenhuis
October 5, 1932 – May 3, 2019
With wonderful memories and sad hearts, the family regrets to announce the passing of a loving husband, father and grandfather on May 3, 2019 at the age of 86.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ronnie, son Kevan (Shelly), daughter Karyn and grandchildren Madison and Skyler Nyenhuis.
He was predeceased by his Father, Mother and brother Harry.
Hess and Ronnie owned the Golden Hour Clock Shop in Edmonton for 48 years and retired in 2017 when he was diagnosed with dementia.

Tick tock Meneer Hess Nyenhuis was always on the clock! Gosh Ronnie I am ever so sorry to hear of your family’s devastating loss. The next time I am at the Dutch Canadian Centre I will raise a glass of Heineken in Hess’s memory!
Ronnie my heart goes out to you. Hess was a good man as well as a good friend. With tears i will miss him.
