Jim Harrison
It is with heavy hearts that the family Jim Harrison announce his passing, on March 18, 2022, after a 4 year battle with Cancer and COPD at the age of 68.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by Cheryl Harrison (nee King), his wife of 40 years, children Bonnie (Tom), Christina (Jackson), Brian and Kristopher, grandchildren Jacob, Kyra, Jennie, Zachary and Michael, siblings Linda, Fred, Theresa, Sandra and Christopher as well as his large extended family and close friends.
At Jim's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in May of 2022. Details will be provided closer to the date.
A Huge thank you to Dr. Smiley and Dr. El-Darsa at the Cross Cancer Clinic and to the staff at Nurse Next Door for the excellent care and support given to Jim.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, in Jim's name.
My heartfelt condolences at this sad time to Cheryl and Family. Jim will be well remembered as a man with a story, a great sense of humour, and a good friend with a deep commitment to his family who he loved with all his heart. I count myself as fortunate to be able to have come to know Jim, Cheryl and the Harrison family and remember their commitment, dedication and love to the many children they cared for over the years. May Jim’s next journey bring him peaceful rest. He will always walk with you and be forever present in your heart and memory. Monica
Monica thank you for your beautiful sentiments for Jim. His last 2 years were very difficult for him and all of us who loved him. We know that he is at peace and breathing easier. He had a great life and was proud of his influence on the lives of his children grandchildren and the children who passed through our home and hearts 💕
