Juan Antonio Mejia

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juan Antonio Mejia, our Tío, on September 10, 2023.

He was born on June 25, 1941, and throughout his 82 years, he touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, unwavering love for his family, loud music, humour, and generosity to friends and family.

Juan Antonio leaves behind a profound legacy of cherished memories, unwavering love, and endless jokes that will forever reside in our hearts.

He loved to give nicknames to loved ones, even if the nicknames he gave weren't always favourites. Those who were fortunate enough to receive one will forever remember them as tokens of his love and affection.

He will be deeply missed by his many family members and friends, a testament to the impact he had on all who were fortunate to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Funeral Home (10530 116 Street, Edmonton, AB) on September 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM.

Con pesar en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Juan Antonio Mejía, nuestro Tío, el 10 de septiembre de 2023.

Nació el 25 de junio de 1941 y a lo largo de sus 82 años, tocó las vidas de muchos con su amabilidad, calidez, amor inquebrantable por su familia, música alta, humor y generosidad hacia amigos y familiares. Juan Antonio deja atrás un legado profundo de recuerdos queridos, amor inquebrantable y bromas interminables que permanecerán por siempre en nuestros corazones.

Le encantaba poner apodos a sus seres queridos, incluso si los apodos que daba no siempre eran los favoritos. Aquellos afortunados de recibir uno siempre los recordarán como muestras de su amor y cariño.

Será profundamente extrañado por sus numerosos familiares y amigos, un testimonio del impacto que tuvo en todos aquellos afortunados de conocerlo.

Se llevará a cabo una celebración de la vida en la Trinity Funeral Home el 20 de septiembre de 2023 a la 1:00 PM.
