With much sadness in our hearts we share that Kim passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84, surrounded by those she loved most.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Carol-Anne (Dennis); Sister Margaret (Bryan); Grandchildren Benjamin (Alison), Alia, Meghan (Josh), Christopher (Christina), and Logan (Kaitlyn); Great-Grandchildren Maddison, Noah, Jayden, and Oliver; nieces Sahra (Tony) and family, Melanie (Joe) and family; as well as family in England and Germany, and many dear friends.

Kim was predeceased by her husband Ken in 1987, her son Paul in 1998, her mother Mathilde in 2009, and her father Donald in 2021.

Kim will be remembered most for her kindness, quick wit, great sense of humour, love of good food, and for making the best “Nana Tea” to “warm the cockles of your heart”. After all, a good cup of tea was nectar from Heaven! She was also an amazing artist and many family and friends proudly display her paintings and other works of art. Kim was dearly loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Very special thanks to Nichola Tremblay RN, who organized Kim’s care needs over these last few years that helped support her wish to age in place in her home. The family is very grateful for your care. We know you loved her too.

Family and friends will be notified of a celebration of life that will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks you make a donation to a charity of your choice.
