Kenneth James Bergum was born to Irving and Elizabeth Bergum on January 19, 1939 at Killam Alberta, and passed away October 12, 2023 at the Leduc Hospital surrounded by his family.

Ken is survived by his loving wife Marjorie; five children Gary and his wife Melody, Wendy and her husband Brent Robinson, Valerie Caldwell, Darrell Bergum, Kimberly and her husband Kevin Zimmerman; twelve grand children; seven great grand children; sisters Barbara and her partner Grant Berg, Julie and her husband Dan Bradshaw; sister in-laws Doreen and Bernie Bergum.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, two brothers Teddy and Larry; brother in-law Jim (Hoppy) Hopkins; nephew Cody; mother and father in-law Bertha and William Ulmer.

Funeral Services will be held at the St. Peters Lutheran Church, 5012 51 Ave Leduc AB, Saturday October 21, 2023 at 1:00pm

    “Bergee” was a regular at our course for many years. Ken and John golfed nearly every weekday together. After his round, he would always stop in to buy “a pop and a chip” for the ride home. We had many laughs together, and we will miss him greatly. Rest in peace Bergee.
