Ken Olstad (aka KO) was born on January 13, 1955 in Vermilion, Alberta and passed away on January 31,2022 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.

Ken passed peacefully into the loving arms of his parents Violet and Allan, brother Ron and niece Carley. He is probably covered by now in puppy kisses from Rambo, his faithful furry companion.

He is survived by his spouse Yasmin, sisters Sandra Olstad and Donna Drysdale (David), brother Doug Olstad (Connie), sisters-in-law Joan Olstad and Karen Klaver (Hans) and stepson Shakeer Bhimji. Also left to cherish his memory are nephews Allan, Jesse and Rob and nieces Amy, Cathy, Lindsey, Hannah and Meghan in addition to great nephews and nieces.

Ken lived his younger years in Claysmore, Alberta moving to Edmonton when he left home for greener pastures.

Ken was a long haul trucker and transported many goods between Canada and the USA. He definitely saw a lot of country in his many travels.
