Lyle Thomas O’Donnell
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lyle Thomas O'Donnell on November 29, 2022 at the Sturgeon Community Hospital after a long battle with kidney, liver, and heart failure at the age of 71.
He will be forever loved by his wife of 33 years, Danielle (née Leblanc) and children; Sabrina (Justin), Melanie (Timo), Liam (Jasmine), and Rachel (Ciaran).
He is survived by his sister Eleanor (Randy) and dear friend Bernie (Maria) and was welcomed with open arms into the afterlife by sisters Alberta, Mavis, and Cleone. His older brother Leonard passed less than one day before Lyle.
His family and loved ones were his source of joy, and he will be missed greatly.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior at Emmaus Lutheran Church 5015 144 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB. with burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Spruce Grove. Refreshments will be served at Emmaus Lutheran Church following the burial.
We are very sorry to hear of Lyle’s passing. Danielle, our condolences to you and the girls at this time of your life. Lyle and I had many wonderful chats together when we lived in Edmonton before moving back to NB and remember Lyle’s kind spirit and joy of life.
