Marie May (Valeda) Harrison
Our precious mother fell asleep in the Good Lord’s arms at 1:00 a.m. on September 14, 2022, with her daughter Linda by her side. She will be ever lovingly remembered by her devoted children, Gilbert (partner Anong), Linda, Andrew, Phillip (wife Charlene), and Timothy.
Marie May “Valeda” was born to William and Marie Anna, (née Huard), Beaudry on July 25, 1929 in her grandmother’s (Marcelline Chenier) house. Marie grew up in the small town of Mattawa, Ontario with six sisters, Elaine, Rose, Flaurida, Della, and the twins Pauline and Aileen, as well as three brothers, Arthur, René and Léo. Marie was formerly married to Cecil Gilbert Harrison, father to their five children.
