O’Deon Yorke
It is with broken hearts that we announce the tragic passing of O’Deon Yorke on March 10th, 2020 at the young age of 24.
He leaves behind his mother and stepfather (Lori & Sterling Menard), his father and stepmother (Stewart Yorke & Lorraine Murray), stepbrothers, as well as numerous family, extended family and many dear friends.
In Deon’s honor there will be a celebration held on
Thursday March 19th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Spark Event Center
2257 Premier Way #116, Sherwood Park Alberta.

Lori and Sterling, we are heartbroken for you all. We never had an opportunity to meet this beautiful young man, but the way his Momma glowed when she spoke about him gave us some insight. Sending you all so much love as you navigate this journey💕 we are here for you.
We had the pleasure of of spending the weekend with Lori and Deon at Noreen and Steve’s wedding. A wonderful young man. A special bond with his Mom was very noticeable. Our thoughts are with you during this time.

While we knew Deon slightly as a very young child, we got to know him better in BC and were just delighted with this lovely young man. He was so gracious and kind…we were crushed when we heard of his untimely passing. The world was truly a better place with him in it. I know he will be dearly missed by so many. We send our sincerest condolences and our hearts are with you all.

Our sincere condolences to the entire family. Lori, we are heartbroken for you. While Mike did not know Deon well, he does remember how polite, kind, and well spoken he was each and every time he saw him. For me, Deon held a special place in my heart and I am deeply saddened by his passing. As a young boy when I enjoyed him the most, he always greeted me with a hug and brought a smile to my face. The cute blonde, blue-eyed boy with a smile that would light up the room. I miss you Deon. May you rest peacefully.
