It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Patricia Sohajda, on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her children: Eileen, Darlene, and Bert; grandchildren: Ashley, Andrea, Amber, Brandon, Jamie, and Haylee; great-grandchildren: Liam, Ethan, Maxwell; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, William Jiggins and Estelle Jiggins (Le Clair); and sisters, Lorraine and Vivian.

Born in Winnipeg On April 10, 1940, to William and Estelle, she spent most of her early life in Vancouver. Married at the age of 19 to Bertalan Sohajda, together they welcomed three beautiful children. The family enjoyed many adventures together; camping trips, weekends spent at the lake, and caring for the family farm. Following their divorce, Patricia followed her children to Edmonton, and remained there as her family grew. When she wasn't busy managing her housekeeping company, much of her life was spent caring for the family she built. Pat loved to cook, and her delicious family dinners were the centre of every holiday. She was an avid lover of dachshunds, and had many precious pups over the years. This included Grizzly, her most recent adorable brown, long-haired dog, who never left her side.
