It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our beloved Ray Snaychuk, at the age of 50.

Ray loved his motorcycle, fishing, camping, dancing, wings, beer, hot tub time, and time spent with his friends and family. He was a hardworking Professional Truck Driver and put 100% into everything he did. We will all miss him so so much.

He is survived by his loving wife Angie, his beautiful children Jacob and Ayla, his parents Ray (Ginny) and Betty (Lorne), his sister Tammy (Assia), sister-in-law Alanna (Gord), his niece Melissa (Tyler) and nephew Jesse.

We will be holding his celebration of life at the Delwood Hall located at 7515 Delwood Rd. Edmonton, AB. on Sunday February 26th from 1:30-4:30 pm.

Slideshow to start at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada @ www.heartandstroke.ca, in Ray's name.

  3. I am so sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. Although, I have only known Ray a short time, I found him to be an honest, straight forward guy!
I met him in 2015 when I was a shipper/receiver at Supreme International in Wetaskiwin. He would bring our steel orders almost weekly and well, unloading steel isn’t a quick job, so we always had time to chat.
I thought he was a good guy. This news does sting a bit.

  17. Raymond was the youngest of our band of 9 Stryski cousins, the little guy when we were all nearby in the late 70s. Shocking news. Condolences to Angie and family, Auntie Betty and cousin Tammy. Hugs to you all.

  18. Such a profound loss for our community…Ray was a well loved part of the Supreme International LTD family even though he didn’t work for us we considered him family!! I always included him in all of our BBQ’s, pizza parties and everything else in between. He was charismatic, easy to talk to and always fun to have around for any occasion..he will be greatly missed by all 155 of us and thank god only a small group of us came to represent Supreme as the building wouldn’t have been able to contain all the love, respect and memories that Ray had with all of us 🤗❤️

  19. Wow can’t believe he is gone. Been unloading box material off of him for over a decade. Gonna miss hearing him yell “Uncle Gordy”.
    Our condolences from J-Rod Steelworks
