Rolanda Leigh Mayes
It is with great sadness that the family of Rolanda Leigh Mayes announce her sudden passing on the morning of Thursday October 10, 2019 at the age of 59 years.
Rolanda Leigh was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. Rolanda will be forever remembered by her family and friends, her brothers and sisters Shirley Ann Mayes, Thomas Edward (Lolita) Mayes, Roger Roy, Pauline (Blair) Phillip, Nicole Roy and Maryne Hachey, nephew Jarett Mayes. Rolanda will also be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and dear friends who lovingly cared for her at Robinhood Association.
She was predeceased by her loving parents and numerous other family members.
Those wishing to view can do so on Friday October 18 starting at 9:00 am. Followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Officiated by Pastor Apollos, celebrating the life of Rolanda Leigh at Trinity Funeral Home 10530-116 St. Edmonton, AB. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens 16102 Fort Rd. NW Edmonton, AB.
Tom, Lolita, and family…it is with forced time like this, I send my condolences to you all on the loss of family blood. The fact of the matter there is not anything stronger then family love. Cherish the previous times with Rolando, as life is temporary for us all. The family name and natural ties is something life can never can take from us all.
