Ronald William Greenwood “Ron”

Ron was born in Hanna, AB on May 19, 1956 and passed away on Dec 18, 2025 in Edmonton, AB

Ron is survived by his children: Kora (Dustin) Houston, Russell (Candace) Greenwood
Grandchildren: Kayleigh, Katelyn, Hailey and Curtis
Sister: Chris Klitzka, Donna (Tom) Adams, Wanda (Mat) Diakow
Nephews: Kevin(Diana) and Kyle Adams
Family Friends: Cindy Richardson and Georgina Nimmo

Ron is Predeceased by his parents Bill Greenwood and Evelyn Greenwood

Ron grew up south of Botha, AB on the family farm, moving to Stettler after high school, and went on to raise his family there. He started his career in the 80’s with CWR in Stettler on rail track maintenance and engine maintenance, working his way up through the years where he retired from CN Edmonton as a Train Engineer. He enjoyed travelling on his time off and being out on a golf course.

Ron will be missed, always once just a phone call away but now we hope he is resting in peace on a golf course somewhere with a cold beer in hand.
