It is with extreme sadness that the family of Shirley Ann Ellen Ayers announce her passing on December 23, 2020. At just 61 years of age God decided that it was time for her battle with cancer to come to an end, and with her children by her side she went home to be with Him.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Tracy Bjorgum and Micheal Prusak, her Grandchildren Austin Prusak, Destiny Prusak and Braeden Prusak, and her Great Grandchildren Amelia, Liam and Grayson. Shirley loved her family more than life, she was an incredible Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and an inspiration to many.

She had the kindest, most gentle and loving soul. She was an amazing role model for many people, and a true example of God's love. She always brought a smile to everyone she came in contact with, touching the hearts and lives of countless family members and friends. She was always there when anyone needed her and was always willing to help anyone who was in need. Her generosity and selflessness was second to none and this world will not be the same without her.

She was an Angel on Earth and will now be our Angel in Heaven.

A celebration of her life will be planned when restrictions are lifted as the number of people who were impacted by her life, seriously exceed the legal limits due to Covid.

A small family gathering will be live streamed on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00pm through the link below;

    • I was a friend of Shirley way back in the 70s. She was so happy and full of life. I will always think of her with fondness…we went through lots of adventures and heartache together. Be at peace, Shirley.

  8. I grew up in claresholm with Shirley and her sibs. Oh the adventures and heartaches we shared! I remember her smile even when things weren’t going well, her sweet voice singing out in church, how excited she was about being a mom. I wish I could have known her as we got older but alas time has a way of separating us all. Dancing with the angels while the lions roar seemed to be how she lived her life. Thanks for the adventures and the memories Shirley. See you later my old friend
