On June 19th 2023, Sidney Gordon passed away peacefully at the University Hospital at the age of 91 years old.
Sidney Gordon is now peacefully at rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all his close friends, family and those whose lives he has impacted over many years. He has brought laughter, positivity, and kind words to all he has had the pleasure of meeting in his lifetime. His joyful and loving personality will be forever cherished in our hearts.
A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

Harnel was widely known, well respected and will be sorely missed. Jovial by nature, Harnel was also a deeply sensitive individual, quick to see hurts in other people and soothe their wounds through his warmth. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Harnel’s family and many friends.

Uncle Harnel was the best. He will be greatly remembered as the “cool” uncle. I remember in my younger days when he visited Jamaica, we would drive around town doing sightseeing and then go clubbing at night. He was so much fun to be around, full of laughter. In the later years we spoke almost every week; talking about old times. Rest in Paradise Uncle Harnel. You were truly one of a kind. You are truly missed, but you are no longer in pain. My dearest Uncle Harnel. I have known you all my life. From the Perry street days. You were the first to leave and go to Canada to open the door so that your siblings could follow. You were the dapper one, always properly dressed. Lively and full of energy. Mr GQ you will be surely missed. We mourn your passing. RIP.
Uncle, you are missed but Lucia and I are eternally grateful for the time spent with you during your illness. God has seen it fit to transition you peacefully and without pain. We will miss our weekly conversations, especially your jokes. Rest in peace our beloved uncle.

He was well loved by everyone in the family and always had such a cheerful spirit. There could never be a dull moment when you were in his presence.
We mourn with you all but we mourn not as those who have no hope, because we know, he ran the race well, with such class, integrity, dignity and pride. His legacy will always remain in our hearts and minds, and he is now resting with His Lord and Savior, out of all pain and suffering, and we shall meet hom again in glory.
We surely miss his unique sense of humor, and our weekly conversation. Love you all, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. He will give you all the strength to carry on.

Our love and prayers to Loann, Rouel, Caswell and family. We have lost a great uncle but we will always cherish the fond and precious memories of our beloved uncle.
His love for the family, great sense of humor. dynamic personality will always be remembered.

We have all been touched by Uncle Harnel’s warm and loving personality. His kind and encouraging words were always appreciated. His wonderful sense of humour certainly added much joy and laughter to our gatherings, along with his cool dance moves (if there was reggae music playing nearby).
He certainly impacted many lives in such a positive way! Uncle Harnel will be greatly missed by us all!
