Sofia Damaso Cabral Resendes
On Friday September 22, 2023 Sofia Damaso Cabral Resendes of Edmonton, AB passed away peacefully at the age of 99 years. God blessed Sofia with a long, healthy, beautiful life.
Sofia will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Raul (Angela) Resendes, Segis (Lucy) Resendes; son-in-law Carlos Ferreira; seven grandchildren: Tania (Michael) Pino, Christopher Resendes, Jason Resendes, Candice DeLuca, Pedro (Patricia) Ferreira, Carla Ferreira and Paulo (Petrina) Ferreira; eleven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Manuel and Claudina Cabral, her husband Adolfo, daughter Edite; sister-in-law Irene; and six siblings: Natalia, Americo, John, Fernandina, Humberto, and Manuel.
Mamã , Avó we love you and will forever cherish your memory.
