Thanh Van Nguyen
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thanh Van Nguyen on April 17, 2024. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children after a battle with cancer.
Thanh is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Maria Gloria, his son Christopher, daughter Melissa (Enrique). Grandchildren who he loved dearly. As well as siblings, cousins, nieces/nephews and many friends.
He was predeceased by his father Cai Van Nguyen, mother Thi Thi Phan and son, Steven Nguyen.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at University of Alberta Hospital and Cross Cancer Institute of Edmonton.
Our dad was the ultimate provider for his family. A true family man who had a generous heart. Everyone who knew him knew that they could count on him for anything, always lending a helping hand. A real warrior. He will be very missed.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 between 5:00pm - 6:00pm, at Trinity Funeral Home (10530 116 Street, Edmonton AB)
Prayer Service will follow at 6pm.

We’re so sorry for your loss. We have always known him to be a devoted family man with the biggest heart. Glad he is at peace now, but very sad for all of the Nguyen family at this difficult time. Love from Brenda and Kevin Steele and family.
