    • Hello Guido. I’m Brent, Bill’s son. Thank you for your kind note. I am sorry for taking so long to reply. I’m touched that after all these years you have fond memories of your days at Bennett & Emmott and friendship with my dad. We are having a celebration of his life on Saturday July 16 between noon and 4PM. It will be a casual open house backyard visit, just the way my dad liked it. If you are able to attend, myself and my sisters would love to meet you and hear some of your stories. Thank you once again for your message of condolence.

  2. To the Family of Bill,
    Just happened to come across this on the internet, my delayed condolences
    on the passing of Bill ; sorry to hear of your loss.
    Bill was a mentor to me from my days at Bennett & Emmott.
    We worked together from the time of 149 street location to move to the New facility on 118 Ave.
    When Bill was the head of the counter sales area, he imparted his vast wisdom on so many fronts, teaching, mentoring the many whom he oversaw and worked with over the years.
    I feel blessed that I was one of them, to this day I have so many fond memories of him when I think back to that time in the 80’s/90’s
    And his passion for BBC and Stamford Generators, which he sold thousands of over his career;
    I will always be thankful for the career path he helped me start and the knowledge that he shared with me.

    Small world; when we found out thru our many conversations, even our families actually came from the same area around Willingdon AB.

    Yes he loved his Oilers ! Probably as much as his GMC’s and Pontiac’s.
    We even purchased his 1980’s Pontiac Parisienne from him, it was like new,
    the pride he took in caring for them.
    Bill was a wonderful man, rest in peace Mr Haydey and thankyou.
    Sincerely Don Morozewich
