Mira Polasek
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Mira Polasek announce her peaceful passing on August 19, 2022, at the age of 55 with her partner and sons at her side, after living with an aggressive cancer graciously and with resolute spirit for 5 years.
Mira will be lovingly remembered by her partner Kurt, sons Thomas (Jessica), Marcus, and Oscar, grandchildren Jane and Samuel, sister Adina (Jaro), and nieces Adela (Tim) and Maria, in addition to countless extended family in her birth country of Slovakia.
A celebration of life for Mira will be held September 1st at 10AM at Trinity Funeral Home, 10530 116 Street, in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.

Once again I’d like to send my condolences to Oscar and his family, it was a beautiful ceremony as she would have liked it simple and small. She was a beautiful person inside and out. ❤️

I ‘d like to leave here my condolences for Mira as I am a cousin as well and was informed only in May 2023 of that she pass away last August!
Last time I saw Mira when I was like 3y.o. Unfortunately.
May she Descansar en paz.
