  8. Natalka and Family: This message was shared with 150+ Retired staff and present Senior Admin “Sadly we share the passing of our Dear Gord, long time Teacher and Principal in ECSD. I was always a “south side” Principal just as Gord was North Side. Our interactions brought us together rarely, as the three Admin areas [North, South, West] met on their own. Gord was mild mannered and always the “gentle man”, the type of person you loved to call friend, and he had many. His Staff admired his Leadership style of coaching, and letting them be the professionals they were. The collegiality of the Principals in our zone areas was a strength.
REST IN PEACE GORD, faithful servant.
Thank You Jerry Tymkow and Len Hook for advising…

  13. Gordon and I first met in the Fall of 1971 when we were both assigned to the Holy Cross Special Education Program. We instantly connected. Gordon was always there for me, quietly supporting me with his calm, caring demeanour. I will truly miss him.

  14. I extend condolences to Natalka and her family on the passing of Gordon my principal when we worked at St. Catherine School. Rest in peace, Gordon. Eternal memory.

  15. I was saddened to hear about Gordon’s death. I did not know him well as I moved to Youville Home where Gordon spent most of his last months only at the end of August. I was struck by his patience gentleness and faithfulness.. I sometimes helped him to or from the Mass in the chapel at Youville Home and always felt uplifted to exchange a smile or blessing with Gordon.

  16. So sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. All my love to you and your family. Hang on to all those happy memories. See you in the spring.
