Roy Wesley Thomas John

We are sad to announce the passing of Roy Wesley Thomas John on January 11, 2026 at the age of 83 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.

Roy was born in Edmonton on May 26, 1942 to Mary and William John.  He was a machinist/millwright and worked for Epcor for many years.

Retirement brought travels in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.  He liked volunteering at the local elementary school and the Edmonton Power Historical Society, keeping fit and gardening.   He loved celebrations and  socializing with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his wife and family.
