Wayne Schneider
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one, Wayne Schneider. Wayne left us peacefully the morning of Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the age of 83 years.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Arthur Schneider and Verna Schneider (nee Cook.)
Wayne leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Schneider, and his three children & six grandchildren: Cathy Pater (Martin) & their children (Addi, Carson & Owen) Michael Schneider (Erin) & their children (Ben, Dexter, & Denver) Christine Schneider (Glenn, and daughters Autumn & Payton)
Wayne was an incredibly honest and hardworking man who loved his family. Our loss is felt deeply; he may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. He was loved and appreciated more than he could ever know.
Please join us for Wayne’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 21st at 2 pm
New Life Community Church

A private burial will be held separately for the immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ronald McDonald House or Stollery Children’s Hospital.

Wayne you were quite the character and I will always have a special place in my heart for you. You were always genuinely happy when I came to visit when I was little. Always teasing and telling stories and I loved listening.
Say hi to mom and dad for me. I know they’ve welcomed you with open arms ❤️
Love Deb
Miss Kathy, I know at times like this it is hard to see past the sorrow ,but I hope that reflecting on the memories that you and your father shared will help you to see lights again. My deepest condolences for your loss.

My deepest condolences to Cathy & her family.
Wayne hired me 35 years ago. We have worked together on so many projects.
I never knew or seen my own father. So I kinda adopted Wayne as my father. On many occasions I have tried to follow in his footsteps.
In a construction atmosphere, it is not common to share feelings of how much you admire someone. Wayne has been the best person in my life!
For a small, average, humble man, he was a giant in my life! I never told him I loved him
I hope he knew that I did.
The picture of him here is perfect.
I feel blessed to have had him be such a great part of my life
Truely truest truely the best man I ever met

I always enjoyed my time with Wayne, and Mike. Wayne was full of experience, knowledge and compassion. He was able to shed good light on any bad situation.
He will be missed, but not forgotten.
Take care Wayne!
Dear Charlotte and Family, Mike and I are so incredibly sad for your family’s tremendous loss. Wayne became an important member of our family, his name often in Mike’s daily report about the goings on of his day at work. Our boys each worked with Wayne a few times as the clean up crew for the many Insite projects that Wayne was doing. I adored Wayne for the warmth, wisdom and kindness he shared with Mike, our boys and with me when I had the pleasure of meeting up on a work site or Insite visit. He was a man of his word. A man of integrity and decency. A man who loved his family and his friends. I know that Mike already misses him tremendously and his life is forever changed by Wayne’s presence in it. As we mourn for you and your family, and for our own loss we shall remember the wise words of an ancient philosopher – ‘to be deeply loved by someone gives you strength; to deeply love someone gives you courage.’ As each of you walks through your grief journey, may you lean on the love and life you shared with Wayne – drawing on the strength and courage you have built together. Much love from Mike and Linda Balt.
