Jerrold Chris Grande
It is with a deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jerrold Chris Grande at the age of 73.
A man with a giant heart, he operated on kindness and humor his whole life. Chris valued his friendships and many lifelong friends.
Chris loved being an uncle and took the job very seriously. He really wanted to contribute as much as he could to the lives and wellbeing of his nieces and nephew. His later job as Gruncle was the frosting on the cake. He loved all his nieces and nephew and great nieces and great nephew unconditionally.
Chris was the best big brother to Lori and Kerry; Chris was the cherished only child for the first 9 years of his life then Lori showed up to join him a short two years later Kerry was born to join them in sibling hood. Chris loved having siblings and was a kind, loving and loyal big brother to both for all his time with them. He was there to keep them out of trouble and taught them how to navigate the world, he was always the rock and a calm voice of common sense to us all.
He will be missed dearly and thought of often by all that knew him.
Chris is survived by sister Lori and brother Kerry (Debbie) niece Robyn (Josh) niece Katie and nephew Chris (Jennie) and his five great nieces' Summer, Nevaeh, Maya, Zoey and Eve and his great nephew Oliver.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation to the kidney foundation of Canada or the diabetes foundation of Canada in his name.
