Maria Teresa Abella (nee Todaro)

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Teresa Abella, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and Nonna who loved her family. Family was everything to her. Her love, strength and warmth will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband- Modesto; her children- Rosanna (Jason) Desjardins, Joselina (John) Wywrot, John Philip (Diane) Abella; her grandchildren- Landon, Carter and Brooklyn; her mother- Giuseppina Todaro; Sister- Franca Abella and numerous nephews and nieces whom she all adored.

Maria was predeceased by her father- Filippo Todaro, her father in-law- Giovanni Abella and her granddaughter Sydney Wywrot.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the healthcare team at the Misericordia ICU and the caregivers at Senior Homecare by Angels who supported Maria with compassion and dignity.
