Trent William Kutney

It is with great sorrow we say goodbye to Trent Kutney. Trent passed peacefully July 16, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born and raised in Edmonton to Ron and Lana, Trent loved to cook, garden, travel, and had a special talent for story telling.

He translated this talent into a 20 year career as a trades instructor at NAIT, quickly becoming a favourite among his hundreds of students through the years

He is survived by his wife Marie, son Ben, his parents Ron and Lana, sister Heather, brother in law Darren and nephew Jordan.

The family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to all our family, friends, neighbours and peers who walked along us during our time of need.

In keeping with Trent's wishes a small private gathering will be held for close family and friends.

In leui of flowers, donations can be made to the Covenant Foundation as thanks to the wonderful care he received at the Misercordia Hospital.
