Rozella Esau

Rozella Esau went to her heavenly home on August 6, 2026, at the age of 96 years.

Rozella was born in Sunnyslope, Alberta on July 4,1930, the youngest child of John and Rebecca Schartner. Throughout the many changes during her lifetime, her constant desire was to have a relationship with Jesus and to share that relationship with others.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and she dedicated her life to caring for her family and for the many others who found their way into her home and heart—relatives, neighbours, schoolmates, friends, and anyone in need of a meal or bed.

Rozella is survived by her children Lyle (Stella) Esau, Rick (Glenda) Esau, Wanda (Dennis) Franke, Wanita (Daniel) Jerusalimiec, Robin (Cindy) Esau, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her baby daughter Della in 1952, her grandson Jesse in 2013 and her husband Alvie in 2018.

The family wishes to thank the entire care team at Jubilee Lodge Nursing Home for their compassionate care and support during the past two years.
