Giovanni Abella
Surrounded by his loving family, Giovanni Abella of Edmonton passed away peacefully on May 31, 2020 at the age of 91 years.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Rosa; five children: Modesto (Maria), Gaetano (Franca), Frank (Sandy), Concetta and Mario (Gabriela); twelve grandchildren: Rosanna (Jay), Joselina (John), John Philip (Diane), Giovanni (Andrea), Filippo (Dana), Roselina (Ryan), Michael, Jessica, Joseph (Fanny), Sandra (Brody), Rosemary and Mateo; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother Angelo; three sisters: Concetta, Rosa and Nina (Salvatore) as well as numerous relatives and many dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Modesto and Concetta; his step-mother Rosalia; his great-granddaughter, Sydney; two brothers, Francesco and Leonardo; two sisters-in-law Pina and Pietrina and two brothers-in-law Salvatore and Salvatore.
