
Angela Bernadette Walker
Angela Bernadette Walker was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, to Elaine Demmitt and Lacelles Williams, where and lovingly embraced by her step mother Enid Williams and her father’s wife, Sandra Williams. She immigrated to Toronto, Canada, in 1973, she attended Catholic high school and began a lifelong walk with God.
Angela later made Edmonton her home, dedicating over 25 years of service to the Government of Alberta before retiring as an Accounts Payable Manager in 2024.
Known for her warmth, hospitality, and impeccable attention to detail, she brought people together through her involvement with the Antilles Sports Club, Cricket Club Ladies, JANA, and Movements - the Afro-Caribbean Dance Ensemble.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Sharisse (Joseph); grandchildren Rishaun, Mikail-Risse, Aaryn, Isaiyah, and Addai; bonus grandchildren Aalia, Dashaun, and Tyrell; siblings Errol, Dave, Nalton, Rohan, Chris, Alicia, Anne, and Christine; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends across Canada, Jamaica, the United States, and the U.K.
Angela's legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
