Angela Esteves Nunes
Angela Esteves Nunes of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on July 29, 2025, at the University of Alberta Hospital after a courageous battle with pneumonia. She was surrounded by loved ones in her final moments.
Born in Edmonton on May 16, 1970, Angela was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family—especially her two sons and her beloved grandchildren. She also cherished her annual visits to Portugal, which brought her great happiness and peace.
Angela is survived by her husband, Tino; her sons, Nathan and Nicholas (Tania); and her cherished grandchildren, Amelia and Olivier. She also leaves behind her loving parents, Antonio and Maria; her sister, Fernanda (Jacinto); as well as nieces, a nephew, and many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the University of Alberta Foundation, in gratitude for the care Angela received.
