It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Clint Mellors.

He leaves to mourn his loss his loving family; his wife Carol, son Neil (Ursula), daughter Charlene (Linda), son Ross (Lisa), grand-daughters Olivia and Zoe Mellors, and step grand-sons Remi and Tanner Beaudin.

Clint's interests were many, mostly centred around family, extended family, life long friends and neighbors. At the height of his long and distinguished career he served as the Deputy Minister of Labour for the Government of Alberta. In his retirement his achievements continued as he worked in post-secondary education at NAIT and with the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta, on various Boards and volunteered for many years with the Edmonton Host Lions Club.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM on December 1, 2023 at Trinity Funeral Home, 10530 -116 Street, NW Edmonton, AB.

  1. We were sad to hear that Clint passed away on Sunday Nov 19. Clint was always positive and always had something good to say. His postive attitude and great values was a value to anyone who meet him and is what the world needs more of. Clint will be missed.

  2. Our deepest condolences to you and your family, Carol. Clint was always there helping at the piano recitals. He was always easy to talk to and it was our honor to have known him over the past nine years. He will missed by us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
